b&w christmas IV: dressing up

This year I said what the hey, let's dress up. Cocktail attire it is. Again, time management. I bought the entire outfit, literally head to toe months before the party because I didn't want to worry about what I would wear the day of. And obviously, it was black and white.

Headband, ring, bracelet, necklace and dress all Forever 21.

I took these pics to send to Ali so she could approve my outfit. She did.

Normally I'm not a gold girl. Other than being a Golden Girl. Holla! But as with all my wardrobe choices, I bought the shoes first and revolved the outfit around them. These shoes were sparkly silver with a gold heel. Best of both worlds!

I'd been eyeballing sparkly shoes around the interwebs and was trying to find something like either of these but obviously not at their prices. Eek.

When I tried them on at the store (TJ Maxx) there was a lady in the aisle with me and told me I had to get them cause I was young and had places to wear them to.

 

I did as I was told.
