I've been blogging for awhile and I am constantly messing with the colors and layout and logo much like my own home. It's nothing much since I'm not much of a designer but I want to take it to the next level, something I'll go into depth more next week. Not about making this blog become a business or anything but I don't like to half ass things I care about and I do care about this blog/writing/decorating hobby.
Currently I'm debating shelling out a couple hundred bucks to have someone just redo the site for me or take my time and learn some basic HTML and work on it myself. It's not beyond my realm of capabilities, I'm pretty much a computer/technology geek but it's something I would have to discipline myself to learn and mess with. It's not like I don't have time, I do, I have plenty of time, I'm not that busy and when I'm not working what do I spend my day doing? TV. Web surfing. Moving stuff around the house. Shopping. Why not spend some time to learn a skill that might come in handy? With one week 'til the big birthday, probably my most important birthday so far I'm being all contemplative so I'll let you guys know what I've been thinking about including: the future, which may or may not include hopes, dreams, and ambitions.

have you ever tinkered around with google sites? I did for a while for my teacher site for school. It's actually rather user friendly, and has several different options to makeit customizable, but wouldn't require AS much of a learning curve as starting from scratch...
