teeny tiny baby island

The current kitchen is very narrow and the one thing I wish I had a little more of is counter space. As I live and work in the space I realize it could benefit from a little island in the center of the room and couldn't find a good photo that explained it until I saw this little kitchen layout:

See? Teeny tiny baby island!

It may not look like much but I bet it is super helpful with storage and work surface.

The layout is similar to our house too in that it's got a narrow L-shape as well and you can see my no effort photoshop here that it would go right in the middle too if we are able to knock that whole wall down.
