I love soda flavored things and I love all the cute soda shirts and beauty products they're releasing lately so I made a soda board.
Matt has converted us to coke zero so we're a sugar free soda crew now. Never thought I'd see the day but here we are. The 40s man.

I know that I got my first grey hair in college but somewhere after having babies the top of my head started being dusted with grey highlights. I look in the mirror every day and still see a brunette but the greys being noticeable was apparent when I emerged from the pandemic and get compliments on how great my hair and especially my greys looked. Matt had been raving about this movie "The Book of Eli" for quite some time. Okay not really raving but anxiously waiting for it to arrive via post so he could watch it with me. Everyone I spoke to said "You have to see it." Finally, I saw it. It's sci fi. It's apocalyptic. It's got a great message. As all disaster or apocalyptic movies do, they make me want to plan for preparedness in case of disasters. For example, buying a few gallons of water in case the water lines break and stocking up on matches, candles, trash bags, and propane camping grills in case you're stuck in your house for days waiting for zombie attacks to subside. Also I wish I had some panic room or automatic gate that comes down over my windows that makes them all zombie proof. The other part, much more normal, is it makes me ridiculously grateful that I have clean running water and a roof over my head and that I'm not living in a world where, again, I'm desperately tryi...

Well after much debating I went ahead and bought it. The Lemonshine Ombre Console  is going to be headed to Burbank to live in my office. The plan is laid out here. It would replace the standing TV cabinet and all of its contents would go inside of the new console, three floating shelves would go above it on the wall (they're already in the closet, just waiting, biding their time). Plus, I want all of the contents of the glass-front bookcase to fit inside that console as well and then get rid of the bookcase which while it pains me greatly to lose it since it's so nice and helpful, there would be no point in having it since the DVDs and books would go on those floating shelves above the cabinet. I want so badly to find another place in the house for it but guess what, my house is too dang small and we are maxed out on furniture in every room. Maybe I can give it to Ben to hold.
