I was trying to explain to Matt what I wanted to do with the constellation wallpaper I'll eventually buy for our bedroom. This image explained it better than I ever could. When you put three of them together all tight like that it looks like one big one which will be helpful since I dunno how wide the wallpaper is.

This stuff is expensive and waaayyyy smaller than I thought it was gonna be. Never again. I taped up my cabinet to add something to it. Kinda fun. I'll figure out things to do with the tape. I've seen cool ideas floating around the interwebs.

One of the best things about the internet and all internet related technologies is the ability it has to take you into the past. The past few weeks off while I should have been thinking about my future and what I'd like to do with my life well I avoided all news stories, any relevant things happening in the world and in my life and spent my days watching old sitcoms and tv shows. I watched the entire Season 5 of Golden Girls which still makes me laugh, Ally McBeal since God bless Netflix they have the whole show on it, and I went even further back in time to The Cosby Show and Facts of Life. I had no idea that The Cosby Show was such an important part of my husband's life. He knew episodes so well and I realized aside from the scene where Cliff teaches Theo about money through monopoly I don't know jack about The Cosby Show. One year ago as I lay in bed enjoying a day off, there was a knock on my bedroom door. "EvY, can you drive me to the hospital?" Immediately I shot up in bed, "Are you in labor honey?" "I think so." Hours later and into the following morning we met the little girl we'd been waiting for. A lot has happened in a year. Happy Birthday Lyla Sky. I love you from here to heaven and back.

I switched up the wallpaper on the magnetic board. It kinda reminds me of some abstract art when it's empty. But here's what it looks like loaded with stuff. Matt graciously donated the "Wonder Woman for President" from his vintage DC comics postcard collection.

He brought me flowers. Freesias.

I am reading this: It gets worse. This is the second volume of a 4 volume set and I asked Matt to get them for me and he did very happily. They were written by Joss Whedon who I love and these books are realllly good. Better than Betty White's autobiography which I also read. More on that later. - mobile blog post. spelling irrelevant.
