clutter v inspirational tears

My brain, as Matt said, always has a lot of tabs open. Right now I'm craving some pretty home inspirations while I tinker around at home and I found myself looking at the folder on my computer where I dump all my phone pics and instagram grabs and magazine pictures and started sorting them into subfolders. I like that feeling of tossing out things that are no longer my style and rediscovering ideas I still absolutely love. Like this kitchen that was in Magnolia Magazine with it's blue island.
I love this use of the tiny sliver of island for cookbook stashing.
Do you guys have folders like that on your laptop? Or is your phone full of a billion screenshots too? Are those things to be considered clutter or inspirational tears?

it's finally summer break!

I'm done! Funemployment! Alice has my phone and the only picture to fully captivate the fact that we plan on chilling as much as possible is this one that Matt took that I love.
I've been cleaning/organizing like crazy and hanging with the kids and when I was working that led to a cough that wouldn't go away that led to dizzyness that led to a visit to the urgent care and a diagnoses of a bronchial inflammation. Steroids. An inhaler.

And this thing they call "rest"? Crazy right?

and now we wrap a movie!

On the 1st of July we wrapped principal photography on the first movie I've worked on. I'll have to ruminate some more later on that whole experience. I'm more suffering a case of senioritis where I am just so over everything and want to just be on vacation. This is the longest stretch of job I've had... ever and I guess that freelance life mentality don't die easy.
My last day is July 17. Then Alice starts swim lessons, we spend a weekend in Arizona, I have a week of Jury duty, and the first week in August we go out of town for a week.

Ain't no cure for these summertime blues!
