it's the little things

I don't think they realized when they did this but they made it vegan and gluten-free. Which means I didn't have to make it from scratch, so much less time!

This, by the way, reminds me to give you one of those "did you know that..." bill nye the science guy tips. Flaxseed meal can be used as an egg substitute. One table spoon flaxseed and two tablespoons warm water do the trick. And then you just multiply by however many eggs you need for the recipe. Obviously this only works for recipes where it calls for the whole egg and not for quiches, yuck. Anyway "now you know!"

xanthum gum is a good gluten substitute but use too much and it's like rubber... happy thing of the day? win-co started carrying udi's gluten free breads, ready made pizza crusts, bagels and muffins. and they are all under 5 bucks!

Yay for Bill Nye. I used to show his DVDs to the kids all the time in science class. And yay for brownies!!
