mint julep bar

Matt & I are seasoned vets of the magic kingdom and we know its ins and outs very well. But even we could find something new to discover and enjoy which is the case with our latest favorite spot for a drink, the "Mint Julep Bar" in New Orleans Square.
It's located on the other side of the French Market Restaurant as indicated by the M on this little map across from the train station stop near the Haunted Mansion.
It's pretty well hidden just past the bathrooms and you wouldn't really know what it was.
It's just a little hole in the wall, literally, it's a window and you order from it.

There's not a big menu either, just a few hot and cold beverages but a few very special items.
A Mickey-Shaped beignet for example just makes anybody's day.
And of course, a (non-alcoholic) mint julep. Which is quite tasty and surprising for Disneyland.
The best thing about this place is that the courtyard of the French Market usually has a jazz band playing and on a nice day outside it's just a great place to be. Sipping a julep, listening to jazz, munching on a beignet, nieces napping.
Mmmm all this talk is making me wanna go to Disneyland. If only I had a season pass... wait a minute, honey, what are we doing tonight?
