It's been a long week. From April 26 'til May 11th I've been working nonstop on a job that has earned the title of worst job I've ever worked on. The people I was working with were really great and competent thankfully but there were so many unexpected changes that caused our prep days to go well into the night and sometimes early the following morning. Then we had four days of filming that were very exhausting and so many things that could go wrong did. At times we felt it was just cursed, things that can go wrong once in your life went wrong multiple times. Injuries, losses, damages, calltime pushes, technical difficulties, difficult personalities. And then capped it off with a shoot from 5pm 'til 5am which luckily was the most pleasant day on the set. And Ab's wedding on May 1st took up some time from the night of April 30 'til 3am, then the day of until 2am and I had to be back in the office at 5:30am the following morning.
Since I was up all night filming, I get the rest of the day off and it's so nice to just be home, hanging with the critters and when Matt gets home, maybe we'll do normal things like go out to dinner and catch a movie. Ah, that's what a life feels like.
And even though it's been horrendous to say the least, it's nothing in the end. There's much more to be grateful for, like family and pretty flowers.
