today was pretty awesome

During a visit to nana's in Mexicali, my mom's twin sister made mention of the fact that she would be attending a mini reunion with the gals that played soccer together in the neighborhood league. Mom's soccer league. "Can I come?!" I asked. My aunt sizes up my request. "Really? You wanna go?" "Yes, if mom can't I can go in her place."

So today, I did. It was epic. I even got to meet an ex flame of my mother's.
